Beanie Tools and Frog Aid

Steven Beane

Throughout his career Steven has consistently made his own forging and shoemaking tools which has developed his interest in designing his own. Beanie Tools was launched in 2013 and the range continues to expand and evolve in response to demand.  Innovation is at the heart of this extensive range of tools, driven by a desire to produce great quality products that make every day work easier.

Frog Aid was borne from a desire to aid and assist those that suffer from laminitis to provide immediate relief and to optimise prognosis.

Steven is proud that 90% of Beanie Tools production is based within his home county in Yorkshire and the business is very much family-orientated. Steven’s wife, Sarah Brown FWCF, is an accomplished farrier and the ‘leading female farrier of the generation’. Sarah is part of a rigorous tool testing programme and provides regular comment on tool design and performance. Steven’s parents manage the administration on a daily basis.

Farriery is at the heart of Steven’s life and he is both honoured and privileged to represent Heller rasps. He regularly undertakes many clinics worldwide for both Beanie Tools and Heller rasps.

This superb range of farriery tools is a reflection of Steven’s talent, knowledge and skill and provides farriers with products that enhance performance with optimal longevity.
